The candidate will be based in Rome or La Spezia.
Main tasks:
- Production of RAMS Analysis of Systems for Electronics, Military, Defense, Naval applications
- Production of Reliability Prediction Analysis, Maintainability Analysis, Safety Analysis, FMECA, FTA, etc.
- CE Marking (low voltage directive, EMC directive, machinery directive etc.)
- Functional safety norms (EN-61508,e ISO-26262), CE directives (2006/42/EC, 2014/35/EU, 2014/68/EU, 2014/30/EU, 2013/35/EU).
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical or Telecommunications Engineering
- Basic knowledge of RAMS Analysis Techniques
- Advanced knowledge and use of the PC and the mostly used commercial software
- Good knowledge of English Language (both written and spoken – B1 or above)
- Problem solving attitude and good communication skills

Activity Description
The Cyber Security Engineer shall be responsible for performing assessments and penetration testing, developing and implementation of secure network solutions, architecting and engineering trusted systems into secure systems and for managing audit/intrusion and security technology systems.
He/She is expected to be always up-to-date about current and emerging cybersecurity trends as well as hacking techniques, to the aim of establishing security protocols and protect IT systems.
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or in a relevant discipline
- Good command of English Language (B2/C1 level as minimum)
- Understanding of cybersecurity methodologies
- Ability to evaluate system changes for security implications and the knowledge to make recommendations for improvements

Activity Description
The Cyber Security Architect shall be responsible for designing, building, implementing and supporting enterprise-class security systems;
He/She is expected to have a thorough understanding of complex IT systems and stay up to date with the latest security standards, systems and authentication protocols, as well as best practice security products.
He / she is expected to identify and communicate current and emerging security threats, to design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge, and to define, implement and maintain corporate security policies and procedures
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or in a relevant discipline

- Capability to conduct Threat Analysis, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment

- Implementation and simulation of complex digital circuits in vhdl and/or verilog;
- Testbench skills for regression test;
- Knowledge of axi aurora PCI express protocols;

- Timing clousure analysis;

NEXT selects candidates that will be trained through IT lessons with the aim of employing additional staff.
The training consists of a classroom-based section with the purpose of introducing the candidates in the company’s context and giving them the key information of the whole software lifecycle. Then there will be a practical training at NEXT offices with the purpose to prepare the participants in getting introduced in an operating team and test the acquired knowledge. At the end of the training, the candidates with positive results will be employed by the company to carry out SW activities in Transportation, Defence and Space Area.
Information technology University Education (Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering) and passion for IT technologies are required.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems, and knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Java) would be an asset.
